Commutative Algebra, chapter VII, § 4. Modules over integrally closed Noetherian domains

If MM is a lattice of VV, then M∗=⋂p∈PMp∗M^* = \bigcap_{p \in P} M_p^*.

Clearly M∗M^* is contained in each of the Mp∗M_p^*. Conversely, suppose that x∗∈⋂Mp∗x^* \in \bigcap M_p^*; if x∈Mx \in M, then ⟨x,x∗⟩∈⋂p∈PAp\langle x, x^* \rangle \in \bigcap_{p \in P} A_p and, as A=⋂p∈PApA = \bigcap_{p \in P} A_p (§ 1, no. 6, Theorem 4), x∗∈M∗x^* \in M^*.

Theorem 1 applied to M∗M^* shows that M∗∗=⋂p∈PMp∗∗M^{**} = \bigcap_{p \in P} M_p^{**}. But as AA, is a principal ideal domain (§1§ 1, no. 6, Theorem 4), MM, is a finitely generated free AA-module and hence Mp∗∗M_p^{**} is canonically identified with MM, (Algebra, Chapter II, §2§ 2, no. 7, Proposition 14), whence the corollary.

For any lattice MM with respect to AA, the canonical mapping cM:M→M∗∗c_M : M \to M^{**} (Algebra, Chapter 11, §2§ 2, no. 7) identifies an element x∈Mx \in M with itself, for xx is the unique element yy of V=V∗∗V = V^{**} such that ⟨x,x∗⟩=⟨y,x∗⟩\langle x, x^* \rangle = \langle y, x^* \rangle for all x∗∈M∗x^* \in M^*, since M∗M^* generates V∗V^*. We shall say that MM is reflexive if M∗∗=MM^{**} = M (loc. cit.). As we have above M∗=(M∗)∗∗M^* = (M^*)^{**}, it is seen that the dual of any lattice MM is always reflexive.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
