Algebra, chapter I, § 4. Groups and groups with operators

Let f:G→G′f : G \to G' be a homomorphism of groups with operators. The inverse image of the identity element of G′G' is called the kernel of ff.

The kernel of ff is often denoted by Ker(f)\mathrm{Ker}(f) and the image f(G)f(G) of ff is sometimes denoted by Im(f)\mathrm{Im}(f).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
