Algebra, chapter I, § 7. Free monoids, free groups

Let MM be the multiplicative monoid of strictly positive integers and let P\mathfrak{P} be the set of prime numbers (§ 4, no. 10, Definition 15). By Proposition 10 there exists a homomorphism uu of N(P)\mathbf{N}^{(\mathfrak{P})} into MM characterized by u(δp)=pu(\delta_p) = p for every prime number pp. Then u(α)=∏p∈Ppα(p)u(\alpha) = \prod_{p \in \mathfrak{P}} p^{\alpha(p)} for α\alpha in N(P)\mathbf{N}^{(\mathfrak{P})} and Theorem 7 of § 4, no. 10 shows that uu is an isomorphism of N(P)\mathbf{N}^{(\mathfrak{P})} onto HH.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
