Algebra, chapter II, § 1. Modules

(1) Let (Mι)ι∈I,(Nι)ι∈I(M_\iota)_{\iota \in I}, (N_\iota)_{\iota \in I} be two families of submodules of a module EE, with the same indexing set; suppose that EE is both the direct sum of the family (Mι)(M_\iota) and of the family (Nι)(N_\iota) and that Nι⊂MιN_\iota \subset M_\iota for all ι∈I\iota \in I. Then Nι=MιN_\iota = M_\iota for all ι∈I\iota \in I, as follows immediately from no. 6, Corollary 1 to Proposition 7 applied to the canonical injections fι:Nι→Mιf_\iota : N_\iota \to M_\iota.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
