Algebra, chapter II, § 10. Matrices

Let (ei),(ei′)(e_i), (e'_i) be two bases of n elements of E and P the matrix of passage from (ei)(e_i) to (ei′)(e'_i). If (ei∗)(e_i^*) and (ei′∗)({e'_i}^*) are the respective dual bases of (ei)(e_i) and (ei′)(e'_i), the matrix of passage from (ei∗)(e_i^*) to (ei′∗)({e'_i}^*) is the contragredient tP−1^tP^{-1} of P.

The transpose of the identity mapping lEl_E is the identity mapping lE∗l_{E^*}; by Proposition 3, no. 4, the matrix of lE∗l_{E^*} with respect to the bases (ei′∗)({e'_i}^*) and (ei∗)(e_i^*) (in that order) is the transpose of the matrix of lEl_E with respect to the bases (ei)(e_i) and (ei′)(e'_i) (in that order), that is the transpose of P−1P^{-1}.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
