Algebra, chapter II, § 11. Graded modules and rings

If every element of Δ\Delta is cancellable, the centralizer of the graded subring BB of AA (and in particular the centre of AA) is a graded subring of AA.

It is the intersection of the centralizers of the homogeneous elements of BB.

Remark (3) *A direct system (Aα,ϕβα)(A_\alpha, \phi_{\beta\alpha}) of graded rings of type Δ\Delta (resp. a direct system (Mα,fβα)(M_\alpha, f_{\beta\alpha}) of graded AαA_\alpha-modules of type Δ\Delta) is a direct system of rings (resp. AαA_\alpha-modules) such that each AαA_\alpha (resp. MαM_\alpha) is graded of type Δ\Delta and each ϕβα\phi_{\beta\alpha} (resp. fβαf_{\beta\alpha}) is a homomorphism of graded rings (resp. an AαA_\alpha-homomorphism of degree 0 of graded modules). If (Aαλ)λ∈Δ(A^\lambda_\alpha)_{\lambda \in \Delta} (resp. (Mαλ)λ∈Δ(M^\lambda_\alpha)_{\lambda \in \Delta}) be the graduation of AαA_\alpha (resp. MαM_\alpha) and we write

A=lim⁡⟶Aα,Aλ=lim⁡⟶Aαλ(resp. M=lim⁡⟶Mα, Mλ=lim⁡⟶Mαλ), A = \lim_{\longrightarrow} A_\alpha,\quad A^\lambda = \lim_{\longrightarrow} A^\lambda_\alpha \quad (\text{resp. } M = \lim_{\longrightarrow} M_\alpha,\ M^\lambda = \lim_{\longrightarrow} M^\lambda_\alpha),

it follows from § 6, no. 2, Proposition 5 that (Aλ)(A^\lambda) (resp. (Mλ)(M^\lambda)) is a graduation of A (resp. M) and it follows from I, § 10, nos. 3 and 4 that this graduation is compatible with the ring structure on A (resp. the A-module structure on M). The graded ring A (resp. graded A-module M) is called the direct limit of the direct system of graded rings (Aα,ϕβα)(A_\alpha, \phi_{\beta\alpha}) (resp. graded modules (Mα,fβα)(M_\alpha, f_{\beta\alpha})). If ϕα:Aα→A\phi_\alpha : A_\alpha \to A (resp. fα:Mα→Mf_\alpha : M_\alpha \to M) is the canonical mapping, ϕα\phi_\alpha (resp. fαf_\alpha) is a homomorphism of graded rings (resp. a homomorphism of degree 0 of graded AαA_\alpha-modules).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
