— If $A$ is a $\mathbf{Q}$ -algebra then the module $TS^n(M)$ is generated by the n-th powers of elements of $M$ in $TS(M)$ . This follows from Cor. 1 and the corresponding property of $S(M)$ (III, p. 498).
