Algebra, IV, p. 55, § 5. Symmetric tensors and polynomial mappings

Let (Ni)i∈I(N_i)_{i \in I} be a family of A-modules, fif_i a mapping of M into Ni,i∈IN_i, i \in I, and f:M→∏i∈INif : M \to \prod_{i \in I} N_i the mapping with components fif_i. For f to be a homogeneous polynomial mapping of degree q it is necessary and sufficient that each fif_i be a homogeneous polynomial mapping of degree q.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
