Algebra, chapter VI, § 1. Ordered groups. Divisibility

— In an ordered group GG, the relations x≤yx \leq y, 0≤y−x0 \leq y - x, x−y≤0x - y \leq 0 and −y≤−x-y \leq -x are equivalent.

In fact, we apply Prop. 2, successively taking z=−xz = -x, z=−yz = -y and z=−(x+y)z = -(x + y).

In particular we deduce from this corollary that if GG is an ordered group, the map x↦−xx \mapsto -x from GG to itself takes the ordering of GG to the opposite ordering.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
