Algebra, chapter VI, § 1. Ordered groups. Divisibility

— If (xi)(x_i) is a finite family of elements of a filtered group G, then there exists z∈Gz \in G such that xi+zx_i + z is positive for each i.

If xi=ui−vix_i = u_i - v_i, with uiu_i and viv_i positive, it is enough to take zz to be the sum of the family (vi)(v_i).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
