Algebra, chapter VI, § 2. Ordered fields

— Given a commutative ring A\mathbf{A}, we say that an ordering on A\mathbf{A} is compatible with the ring structure of A\mathbf{A} if it is compatible with the additive group structure of A\mathbf{A}, and if it satisfies the following axiom : (OR) The relations x⩾0x \geqslant 0 and y⩾0y \geqslant 0 imply xy⩾0xy \geqslant 0. The ring A\mathbf{A}, together with such an ordering, is called an ordered ring.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
