Algebra, VII, p. 7, § 2. Torsion modules over a principal ideal domain

Conversely, let Mi′M'_i be an (A/bi)(A/b_i)-module for each i, and consider the A-module M, the direct sum of the A-modules Mi′M'_i; then the submodules MiM_i constructed above coincide with the Mi′M'_i (it is enough to note that if i≠ji \neq j then no nonzero element of Mj′M'_j is annihilated by bib_i because bi+bj=Ab_i + b_j = A). Thus, roughly speaking, it amounts to the same thing to consider an A-module M or a family (Mi)(M_i) of modules over the rings A/bi=AiA/b_i = A_i.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
