Let E1,...,En be hilbertian spaces. Suppose that for 1≤i≤n the space Ei is a hilbertian sum of a family (Ei,α)α∈A(i) of closed vector subspaces. Then E1⊗2...⊗2En is a hilbertian sum of the family of subspaces E1,α1⊗^2...⊗^2En,αn with (α1,...,αn) ranging over A(1)×...×A(n).
By formula (6) of V, p. 27, the subspaces E1,α1⊗^2...⊗^2En,αn of E1⊗^2...⊗^2En are mutually orthogonal. For every integer i between 1 and n, the set ⋃α∈A(i)Ei,α is total in Ei, and the multilinear mapping (x1,...,xn)↦x1⊗...⊗xn is continuous.
It follows that the union of the subspaces E1,α1⊗^2...⊗^2En,αn is total, hence prop. 3.
Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
