Topological Vector Spaces, chapter V, § 3. Tensor product of hilbertian spaces

— Let E1E_1 and E2E_2 be two hilbertian spaces, and (ei)i∈I(e_i)_{i \in I} an orthonormal basis of E1E_1. Let (yi)i∈I(y_i)_{i \in I} be a family of elements of E2E_2, such that ∑i∈I∥yi∥2<+∞\sum_{i \in I} \| y_i \| ^2 < + \infty. Then the family (ei⊗yi)i∈I(e_i \otimes y_i)_{i \in I} is summable in E1⊗^2E2E_1 \hat{\otimes}_2 E_2; moreover, every element of E1⊗E2E_1 \otimes E_2 can be written uniquely in the form ∑i∈Iei⊗yi\sum_{i \in I} e_i \otimes y_i with ∑i∈I∥yi∥2<+∞\sum_{i \in I} \| y_i \| ^2 < + \infty.

Let FiF_i be the line in E1E_1 generated by the eie_i (i∈Ii \in I). Then E1E_1 is the hilbertian sum of the family of subspaces (Fi)i∈I(F_i)_{i \in I}. By prop. 3, the space E1⊗^2E2E_1 \hat{\otimes}_2 E_2 is the hilbertian sum of the family of subspaces (Fi⊗^2E2)i∈I(F_i \hat{\otimes}_2 E_2)_{i \in I}, hence cor. 2 follows.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
