Functions of a Real Variable, chapter V, § 1. COMPARISON OF FUNCTIONS ON A FILTERED SET

Let VV be a normed space over a non-discrete valued field KK, and let f(x)=a0xn+a1xn−1+⋯+anf(x) = a_0 x^n + a_1 x^{n-1} + \cdots + a_n be a polynomial in the variable x∈Kx \in K, with coefficients in VV, such that a0≠0a_0 \neq 0. For every vector b≠0b \neq 0 one has f(x)≃bxnf(x) \simeq b x^n as ∣x∣|x| tends to +∞+\infty.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
