Integration, chapter III, § 2. Support of a measure

— If Φ\Phi is a filter on M(X;C)\mathscr{M}(X; \mathbf{C}) such that the support of μ\mu recedes indefinitely along Φ\Phi, then μ\mu converges vaguely to 0 with respect to Φ\Phi.

Let ff be any function in K(X;C)\mathscr{K}(X; \mathbf{C}) and let KK be its support. By hypothesis, there exists a set M∈ΦM \in \Phi such that for every measure μ∈M\mu \in M, Supp⁡(μ)∩K=∅\operatorname{Supp}(\mu) \cap K = \varnothing; it follows that μ(f)=0\mu(f) = 0 for all μ∈M\mu \in M, which proves the proposition.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
