Integration, chapter III, § 3. Integrals of continuous vector-valued functions

— The mapping

(f,μ)↦∫fdμ (f, \mu) \mapsto \int f d\mu

of K~(X;E)×M(X;C)\widetilde{\mathscr{K}}(X; E) \times \mathscr{M}(X; \mathbf{C}) into E′∗E'* is bilinear.

The proposition follows immediately from Def. 1 of No. 1.

Let uu be a continuous linear mapping of EE into a locally convex space FF; we know that the transpose tu^t u is a linear mapping of the dual F′F' of FF into the dual E′E' of EE; we shall denote by ttu^{tt} u the mapping E′∗→F′∗{E'}^* \to {F'}^*, the transpose of tu^t u (in the algebraic sense); when EE and FF are Hausdorff and are canonically identified with subspaces of E′∗{E'}^* and F′∗{F'}^*, respectively, ttu^{tt} u extends the mapping uu. With these notations:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
