Integration, chapter III, § 4. Products of measures

The support of the product λ⊗μ\lambda \otimes \mu is equal to the product of the support of λ\lambda and the support of μ\mu.

We first observe that the relation λ⊗μ=0\lambda \otimes \mu = 0 implies that one of the measures λ,μ\lambda, \mu is zero (A, II, §7, No. 7, Prop. 16, (ii)). On the other hand, if U (resp. V) is an open set in X (resp. Y), then the restriction of λ⊗μ\lambda \otimes \mu to the product U×VU \times V is the product of the restrictions of λ\lambda to U and of μ\mu to V, as follows from Th. 1 of No. 1 and the definition of the restriction of a measure to an open set (§ 2, No. 1). It therefore follows that, for the restriction of λ⊗μ\lambda \otimes \mu to U×VU \times V to be zero, it is necessary and sufficient that either the restriction of λ\lambda to U or the restriction of μ\mu to V be zero, which proves the proposition, on taking into account the definition of the support of a measure (§ 2, No. 2).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
