Integration, chapter IV, § 2. Negligible functions and sets

— Given a measure μ\mu on a locally compact space X, a numerical function f≥0f \geq 0 (finite or not) defined on X is said to be negligible for the measure μ\mu if ∣μ∣∗(f)=0|\mu|^*(f) = 0.

We then also say that ff is μ\mu*-negligible*, or simply negligible if no confusion can result.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
