Integration, IV, p. 12, § 2. Negligible functions and sets

For a lower semi-continuous function f≥0f \geq 0 on XX to be negligible, it is necessary and sufficient that ff be zero on the support of μ\mu.

If ∣μ∣∗(f)=0|\mu|^*(f) = 0 then ∣μ∣(g)=0|\mu|(g) = 0 for every function g∈K+g \in \mathscr{K}_+ such that g≤fg \leq f; it follows (Ch. III, § 2, No. 3, Prop. 9) that gg is zero on the support SS of μ\mu; since ff is the upper envelope of the functions g∈K+g \in \mathscr{K}_+ such that g≤fg \leq f (§ 1, No. 1, Lemma), f(x)=0f(x) = 0 on SS. Conversely, if f(x)=0f(x) = 0 on SS then g(x)=0g(x) = 0 on SS for every function g∈K+g \in \mathscr{K}_+ such that g≤fg \leq f, therefore (Ch. III, § 2, No. 3, Prop. 8) ∣μ∣(g)=0|\mu|(g) = 0, which, by definition, implies that ∣μ∣∗(f)=0|\mu|^*(f) = 0.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
