Integration, chapter IV, § 2. Negligible functions and sets

— Let ff and gg be two continuous mappings of XX into a Hausdorff topological space FF; for ff and gg to be equivalent, it is necessary and sufficient that f(x)=g(x)f(x) = g(x) at every point of the support of μ\mu.

For, the set of x∈Xx \in X such that f(x)≠g(x)f(x) \neq g(x) is an open set (GT, I, §8, No. 1); for it to be negligible, it is necessary and sufficient that it not intersect the support of μ\mu (No. 2, Prop. 5).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
