Integration, chapter IV, § 5. Measurable functions and sets

— Suppose that AA is the union of a sequence (Ln)(L_n) of compact sets and a μ\mu-negligible (resp. locally μ\mu-negligible) set, and let K\mathscr{K} be a set of compact subsets that is μ\mu-dense in AA. Applying to each LnL_n the property c) of the statement of Prop. 12, we see that AA is the union a sequence of compact sets belonging to K\mathscr{K} and a μ\mu-negligible (resp. locally μ\mu-negligible) set.

If KK is a compact subset of XX, it comes to the same to say that a set of compact subsets of KK is μ\mu-dense in KK or that it is μK\mu_K-*dense* in KK; this follows from Lemmas 2 and 3 of No. 7 and condition b) of Prop. 12.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
