Integration, IV, p. 77, § 5. Measurable functions and sets

*A set A\mathfrak{A} of subsets of a topological space TT is said to be locally countable if, for every t∈Tt \in T, there exists a neighborhood VV of tt such that the set of A∈AA \in \mathfrak{A} that intersect VV is countable.*

If the set A\mathfrak{A} of subsets of TT is locally countable then, for every compact subset KK of TT, the set of A∈AA \in \mathfrak{A} that intersect KK is countable, since KK can be covered by a finite number of open neighborhoods of points of KK, each of which intersects only a countable set of subsets belonging to A\mathfrak{A}.

Def. 7 shows that the union of a locally countable set of μ\mu-measurable (resp. locally μ\mu-negligible) subsets of a locally compact space is μ\mu-measurable (resp. locally μ\mu-negligible) (No. 1, Prop. 3 and No. 2, Prop. 5).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
