Integration, chapter V, § 2. Summable families of positive measures

Let (θα)α∈A(\theta_\alpha)_{\alpha \in A} be a family of complex measures on X; the family (θα)(\theta_\alpha) is said to be summable if the family (∣θα∣)(|\theta_\alpha|) of positive measures is summable; it is not sufficient for this that the family (θα)(\theta_\alpha) be summable in the vector space M(X;C)\mathscr{M}(X; \mathbf{C}) equipped with the vague topology (cf. Exer. 3).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
