Integration, chapter IX, § 6. Promeasures and measures on a locally convex space

— For every semi-open interval J=]a,b]J = ]a, b] contained in T, let us set l(J)=b−al(J) = b - a (the length of J) and denote by AJA_J the linear form f↦f(b)−f(a)f \mapsto f(b) - f(a) on C\mathscr{C}. It can be shown that the Wiener measure is characterized by the following property:

Let J1,…,JnJ_1, \ldots, J_n be semi-open intervals contained in T and pairwise disjoint. The image of the measure w under the linear mapping f↦(AJ1(f),…,AJn(f))f \mapsto (A_{J_1}(f), \ldots, A_{J_n}(f)) of C\mathscr{C} into Rn\mathbf{R}^n is equal to γa1⊗⋯⊗γan\gamma_{a_1} \otimes \cdots \otimes \gamma_{a_n} with ai=l(Ji)1/2a_i = l(J_i)^{1/2} for 1≤i≤n1 \leq i \leq n.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
