Integration, chapter IX, § 6. Promeasures and measures on a locally convex space

— Let F be a barreled space and T\mathscr{T} a locally convex topology on F′F' intermediate to Ts\mathscr{T}_s and Tc\mathscr{T}_c. Every subset of F′F' compact for T\mathscr{T} is compact for the coarser topology Ts\mathscr{T}_s. Conversely, let K be a subset of F′F' compact for Ts\mathscr{T}_s. Since F is barreled, K is equicontinuous (TVS, III, §4, No. 2, Th. 1); but by Ascoli’s theorem, every equicontinuous subset of F′F' is relatively compact for Tc\mathscr{T}_c and a fortiori for T\mathscr{T}, therefore K is contained in a subset of F′F' compact for T\mathscr{T}. It is not difficult to infer from this that the identity mapping of FT′F'_\mathscr{T} onto FTs′F'_{\mathscr{T}_s} defines a bijection between the sets of measures on these two spaces.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
