Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter I, § 1. Definition of Lie algebras

Let aa and bb be two Lie algebras over KK,

a→λg→μb a \xrightarrow{\lambda} g \xrightarrow{\mu} b

an inessential extension of bb by aa, ν\nu an isomorphism of bb onto a subalgebra of gg such that μ∘ν\mu \circ \nu is the identity automorphism of bb and ϕ\phi the corresponding homomorphism of bb into the Lie algebra of derivations of aa. Let

a→λ0g0→μ0b a \xrightarrow{\lambda_0} g_0 \xrightarrow{\mu_0} b

be the inessential extension of bb by aa canonically defined by ϕ\phi. Then the mapping (a,b)↦λ(a)+ν(b)(a, b) \mapsto \lambda(a) + \nu(b) is an isomorphism ff of g0g_0 onto gg and the following diagram

a→λ0g0→μ0b↘f↓↗μ0g↙i↘μ \begin{array}{ccccc} & & \\ a & \xrightarrow{\lambda_0} & g_0 & \xrightarrow{\mu_0} & b \\ & \searrow f & \downarrow & \nearrow \mu_0 \\ & & g & & \\ & \swarrow i & & \searrow \mu \\ & & & & \end{array}

is commutative, so that the two extensions are equivalent.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
