Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter I, § 3. Representations

Let M,NM, N be two gg-modules and P=LK(M,N)P = \mathscr{L}_K(M, N). For an element ff of PP to be invariant, it is necessary and sufficient, by (6), that ff be a homomorphism of the gg-module MM into the gg-module NN. In particular, if M=NM = N and xM=xNx_M = x_N for all x∈gx \in g, ff is invariant if and only if ff is permutable with the xMx_M.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
