Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 4. Passage from Lie algebras to Lie groups

Let XX be a manifold of class CrC^r, FF and F′F' vector bundles of class CrC^r with base space XX and ϕ\phi a morphism of FF into F′F'. For all x∈Xx \in X, let SxS_x be the set of

(a,ϕ(a))∈Fx⊕Fx′ (a, \phi(a)) \in F_x \oplus F'_x
for a∈Fxa \in F_x. Then the union SS of the SxS_x is a vector subbundle of F⊕F′F \oplus F'.

Let θ\theta and θ′\theta' be the mappings of F⊕F′F \oplus F' into itself defined as follows: if (u,v)∈Fx⊕Fx′(u, v) \in F_x \oplus F'_x, then

θ(u,v)=(u,v+ϕ(u)),θ′(u,v)=(u,v−ϕ(u)). \theta(u, v) = (u, v + \phi(u)), \qquad \theta'(u, v) = (u, v - \phi(u)).
By Differentiable and Analytic Manifolds, R, 7.7.1, θ\theta and θ′\theta' are morphisms of F⊕F′F \oplus F' into itself. Clearly θ∘θ′=θ′∘θ=IdF⊕F′\theta \circ \theta' = \theta' \circ \theta = \mathrm{Id}_{F \oplus F'}. Hence θ\theta and θ′\theta' are automorphisms of F⊕F′F \oplus F'. Therefore, S=θ(F⊕{0})S = \theta(F \oplus \{0\}) is a vector subbundle of F⊕F′F \oplus F'.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
