Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VI, § 1. Root systems

Let m(α,β)m(\alpha, \beta) be the order of sαsβs_{\alpha} s_{\beta} (α,β∈B(C)\alpha, \beta \in B(C)). The matrix (m(α,β))(m(\alpha, \beta)) is identified with the Coxeter matrix (Chap. IV, § 1, no. 9) of (W,S)(W, S). If α≠β\alpha \neq \beta, Prop. 3 of Chap. V, § 3, no. 4 shows that the angle (α,β)(\alpha, \beta) is equal to π−πm(α,β)\pi - \frac{\pi}{m(\alpha, \beta)}; in particular, this angle is either obtuse or equal to π\pi, and (α∣β)≤0(\alpha|\beta) \leq 0. By using the list in no. 3, it follows that m(α,β)m(\alpha, \beta) is equal to 2, 3, 4 or 6.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
