General Topology, chapter I, § 5. Open mappings and closed mappings

Let (T(i))i∈I(T(i))_{i \in I} be a family of subsets of YY whose interiors cover YY, or which is a locally finite closed covering of YY. If f:X→Yf : X \to Y is continuous and if each of the fT(i)f_{T(i)} is a homeomorphism of f−1(T(i))f^{-1}(T(i)) onto T(i)T(i), then ff is a homeomorphism of XX onto YY.

For ff is clearly bijective, and is open by virtue of Proposition 2.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
