General Topology, chapter II, § 3. Complete spaces

On a uniform space XX every convergent filter is a Cauchy filter.

If xx is any point of XX and VV is any symmetric entourage of XX, then the neighbourhood V(x)V(x) of xx is V‾\overline{V}-small. If F\mathfrak{F} is a filter which converges to xx, there is a set of F\mathfrak{F} contained in V(x)V(x), and therefore VV-small.

Clearly every filter which is finer than a Cauchy filter is a Cauchy filter.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
