Commutative Algebra, chapter VIII, § 5. Anneaux locaux réguliers

Let AA be a ring, pp a prime ideal of AA, and PP a polynomial in A[T]A[T]. One says that PP is an Eisenstein polynomial for pp if it satisfies the following conditions: a) PP is monic of degree d⩾1d \geqslant 1; b) one has P(T)≡Tdmod  .pA[T]P(T) \equiv T^d \mod. pA[T]; c) one has P(0)∉p2P(0) \notin p^2.

In other words, a polynomial of Eisenstein for pp is a polynomial of the form P(T)=Td+∑i=1daiTd−iP(T) = T^d + \sum_{i=1}^d a_i T^{d-i}, with d⩾1d \geqslant 1, where a1,...,ad−1a_1, ..., a_{d-1} belong to pp and ada_d to p−p2p - p^2.

One says that PP is a polynomial of Eisenstein for pAppA_p if the canonical image of PP in the polynomial ring Ap[T]A_p[T] is a polynomial of Eisenstein for the ideal pAppA_p; this also means that PP is a polynomial of Eisenstein for pp and that it moreover satisfies the following condition, stronger than c): c’) every element aa of AA such that aP(0)∈p2aP(0) \in p^2 belongs to pp.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
