Commutative Algebra, chapter VIII, § 6. Dimension des anneaux gradués

Suppose that HH is noetherian and MM finitely generated. Then dim⁡H(M)=dim⁡S−1H(S−1M)\dim_H(M) = \dim_{S^{-1}H}(S^{-1}M).

Let a be the annihilator of the HH-module MM; it is a graded ideal of HH. Since MM is a finitely generated HH-module, the annihilator of the S−1HS^{-1}H-module S−1MS^{-1}M is the ideal S−1αS^{-1}\alpha of S−1HS^{-1}H. One has dim⁡H(M)=dim⁡(H/α)\dim_H(M) = \dim(H/\alpha) and dim⁡S−1H(S−1M)=dim⁡(S−1H/S−1α)\dim_{S^{-1}H}(S^{-1}M) = \dim(S^{-1}H/S^{-1}\alpha). Proposition 4 then follows from Theorem 1, c) of No. 2 applied to the graded ring H/αH/\alpha.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
