Commutative Algebra, chapter X, § 2. Modules et anneaux macaulayens

Under the hypotheses of Prop. 2, it may happen that two irreducible components X1X_1 and X2X_2 of Supp(M)\mathrm{Supp}(M) have an intersection YY reduced to a point and that one has dim⁡X1≠dim⁡X2\dim X_1 \neq \dim X_2 and dim⁡X2≠codim(Y,X2)\dim X_2 \neq \mathrm{codim}(Y, X_2) (cf. exercise 4). However, this cannot happen when the ring AA is local, as is shown by the following corollary.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
