Commutative Algebra, chapter X, § 3. Profondeur et dimension homologique

Let AA be a ring, MM and NN AA-modules, ii an integer.

a) The support of ToriA(M,N)\mathrm{Tor}_i^A(M, N) is contained in Supp(M)∩Supp(N)\mathrm{Supp}(M) \cap \mathrm{Supp}(N), and the same is true of the support of ExtAi(M,N)\mathrm{Ext}_A^i(M, N) if AA is noetherian and MM finitely generated.

b) Suppose that AA is noetherian, and that the modules MM and NN are finitely generated; if the AA-module M⊗ANM \otimes_A N is of finite length, the same is true of ToriA(M,N)\mathrm{Tor}_i^A(M, N) and of ExtAi(M,N)\mathrm{Ext}_A^i(M, N).

If pp is a prime ideal of AA not belonging to Supp(M)∩Supp(N)\mathrm{Supp}(M) \cap \mathrm{Supp}(N), one of the modules MpM_p or NpN_p is zero, which implies a) in view of Prop. 2.

In order that a finitely generated module over a noetherian ring be of finite length, it is necessary and sufficient that its support consist of maximal ideals (IV, § 2, No. 5, Prop. 7). Under assumption b), the AA-modules ToriA(M,N)\mathrm{Tor}_i^A(M, N) and ExtAi(M,N)\mathrm{Ext}_A^i(M, N) are finitely generated (A, X, p. 108, Cor.) ; the assertion b) therefore follows from a).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
