Commutative Algebra, chapter X, § 8. Dualité des modules de longueur finie

Let II be an indecomposable injective AA-module, and let p\mathfrak{p} be the unique element of Ass(I)\mathrm{Ass}(I); by Prop. 1, II contains a submodule isomorphic to A/pA/\mathfrak{p} of which it is the injective envelope. In general such a submodule is not unique, as is seen by taking A=ZA = \mathbf{Z}, p=0\mathfrak{p} = 0, I=QI = \mathbf{Q}.

For each prime ideal p\mathfrak{p} of AA, let us choose as above an injective envelope (I(p),ep)(I(\mathfrak{p}), e_{\mathfrak{p}}) of A/pA/\mathfrak{p}. By A, X, p. 22, Th. 3, one has:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
