Algebra, chapter IX, § 7. Formes hermitiennes et corps ordonnés

Suppose that the conditions of No. 3 are fulfilled. Let Γ\Gamma be a group of automorphisms of E such that every u∈Γu \in \Gamma is normal. Now prove that there exists a decomposition of E into direct sum of subspaces EkE_k (1≤k≤r1 \leq k \leq r) pairwise orthogonal, such that the restriction to EkE_k of every u∈Γu \in \Gamma is of the form λkνk\lambda_k \nu_k, where λk\lambda_k is an element >0> 0 of K and where νk\nu_k is a unitary endomorphism of EkE_k (decompose each u∈Γu \in \Gamma in the form hνh \nu, where ν\nu is unitary, h positive hermitian and h2=uu∗h^2 = uu^* (exerc. 14 a)); use exerc. 23 b) and apply cor. 2 of th. 2 to the algebra generated by the hermitian endomorphisms h corresponding to the u∈Γu \in \Gamma. Deduce that if Γ\Gamma is finite, the elements u∈Γu \in \Gamma are unitary.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
