Algebra, chapter IX, § 9. Algèbres de Clifford

*Suppose that EE is the direct sum of two free submodules E1E_1 and E2E_2. Let QiQ_i be the restriction of QQ to EiE_i and pip_i the canonical mapping of C(Qi)C(Q_i) into C(Q)C(Q) (i=1,2i = 1, 2). Then the linear mapping pp of C(Q1)⊗C(Q2)C(Q_1) \otimes C(Q_2) into C(Q)C(Q) deduced from the bilinear mapping (a,b)→p1(a)p2(b)(a, b) \to p_1(a)p_2(b) of C(Q1)×C(Q2)C(Q_1) \times C(Q_2) into C(Q)C(Q) is a bijection.

It is enough in fact to consider the basis of EE obtained by taking the union of a basis of E1E_1 and a basis of E2E_2.*

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
