The Clifford group of $Q$ (resp. special Clifford group of $Q$ ) is called the multiplicative group of the invertible elements $s$ of $C(Q)$ (resp. $C^+(Q)$ ) such that $sEs^{-1} = E$ .

In this No. we shall denote by $G$ and $G^+$ the Clifford group and the special Clifford group of $Q$ . It is clear that $G^+ = G \cap C^+(Q)$ .
