Algebra, chapter X, § 3. Résolutions

Let C0\mathscr{C}_0 and C\mathscr{C} be two additive and left exact sets of class of AA-modules such that C0⊂C\mathscr{C}_0 \subset \mathscr{C} and every AA-module of type C\mathscr{C} possesses a bounded left resolution of type C0\mathscr{C}_0. Then the homomorphism α:K(C0)→K(C)\alpha : K(\mathscr{C}_0) \to K(\mathscr{C}) deduced from the inclusion of C0\mathscr{C}_0 in C\mathscr{C} is bijective; if MM is an AA-module of type C\mathscr{C} and PP a bounded left resolution of MM of type C0\mathscr{C}_0, one has α−1([M]C)=χC0(P)\alpha^{-1}([M]_{\mathscr{C}}) = \chi_{\mathscr{C}_0}(P) (X, p. 41, example 6).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
