Show that the product of two Noetherian spaces is Noetherian. (If X and Y are Noetherian spaces and A is an open subset of X × Y, show that, for all x ∈ pr₁ A, there exists an open neighbourhood V of x such that V × A(x) ⊂ A and deduce that A is quasi-compact.)
