Let AA be an integral domain, PP a projective AA-module, P′P' a projective submodule of PP and j:P′→Pj : P' \to P the canonical injection. Show that for every torsion-free AA-module EE, the homomorphism j⊗1:P′⊗AE→P⊗AEj \otimes 1 : P' \otimes_A E \to P \otimes_A E is injective (reduce it to the case where EE is finitely generated and embed EE in a free AA-module).
