Topological Vector Spaces, III, p. 42

Let EE and FF be two Hausdorff topological vector spaces, and HH an equicontinuous subset of L(E;F)\mathscr{L}(E; F). Show that if there exists a countable total set in EE, and if every bounded subset of FF is metrizable, then HH is metrizable for the topology of simple convergence in EE. If moreover, every bounded subset of FF satisfies the first axiom of countability, then so does HH.
