Functions of a Real Variable, III, 124

Let f\mathbf{f} be a regulated vector function for x⩾0x \geqslant 0, continuous at the point x=0x = 0, and such that the integral ∫a+∞f(x)dx/x\int_a^{+\infty} \mathbf{f}(x) dx / x converges for a>0a > 0. Show that for a>0a > 0 and b>0b > 0 the integral ∫0+∞f(ax)−f(bx)xdx\int_0^{+\infty} \frac{\mathbf{f}(ax) - \mathbf{f}(bx)}{x} dx converges and is equal to f(0)log⁡a/b\mathbf{f}(0) \log a / b.
