Exercise 21, § 4

Integration, IV, p. 126

Let X be a locally compact space, ff a numerical function ⩾0\geqslant 0 defined on X. In order that the mapping μ↦μ∗(f)\mu \mapsto \mu^*(f) of M+(X)∩C′(X;C)\mathscr{M}_+(X) \cap \mathscr{C}'(X; \mathbf{C}) into R‾\overline{\mathbf{R}} be continuous for the topology of compact convergence, it is necessary and sufficient that ff be continuous on X.
