Exercise 6, § 1

Integration, V, p. 95

Let K\mathscr{K} be a μ\mu-dense set of compact subsets of T. Let ff be a function defined on T, with values in a Banach space F, such that fφKf \varphi_K is μ\mu-integrable for every K∈KK \in \mathscr{K}. If the integrals ∫fφK dμ\int f \varphi_K \, d\mu have a limit in F with respect to the directed set K\mathscr{K} (for ⊂\subset), then ff is essentially μ\mu-integrable.
