Exercise 21, § 6

Integration, V, p. 112

Let T, X, Y be three locally compact spaces, π:T→X\pi : T \to X, π′:X→Y\pi' : X \to Y universally measurable mappings. Then π′∘π\pi' \circ \pi is universally measurable. (Let μ\mu be a positive measure on T. To prove that π′∘π\pi' \circ \pi is μ\mu-measurable, reduce to the case that T is compact and π\pi is continuous, and use the fact that π′\pi' is measurable for π(μ)\pi(\mu).)
