Bourbaki marks this one as harder than the rest.

Let GG be a finitely generated torsion-free nilpotent group. Show that, if nn is sufficiently large, GG can be embedded in the lower strict triangular group of order nn over Z\mathbf{Z}. (Let (i,G‾)(i, \overline{G}) be a P\mathbf{P}-envelope of GG, cf. § 5, Exercise 6; with its canonical Lie algebra structure (Exercise 4), G‾\overline{G} is a finite-dimensional nilpotent Lie Q\mathbf{Q}-algebra. Apply Ado's Theorem (Chapter I, § 7) to G‾\overline{G} and deduce an embedding of G‾\overline{G} in a strict triangular group over Q\mathbf{Q}. Pass from Q\mathbf{Q} to Z\mathbf{Z} by conjugating by a suitable integral diagonal matrix.)
