General Topology, IV

Show that there is no non-constant mapping ψ\psi of an interval I⊂RI \subset \mathbf{R} into the set NN\mathbf{N}^\mathbf{N} of all sequences of natural numbers which has the following property for each x∈Ix \in I: for each integer n≥0n \geq 0 there is a neighbourhood VV of xx in II such that, for each y∈Vy \in V, the first nn terms of the sequence ψ(y)\psi(y) are the same as the first nn terms of the sequence ψ(x)\psi(x) (remark that this would imply the continuity of ψ\psi, if each factor N\mathbf{N} carries the discrete topology and NN\mathbf{N}^\mathbf{N} the product topology).
